The Lark Bunting is practically synonymous with the short grass prairie.  This one was commissioned by the staff of the Grasslands Laboratory, Fort Collins, CO, as a retirement gift for Administrative Assistant Corrine Johnson.  I originally named the piece "Nothing but bills, bills, bills."
